Pledges, One time & Recurring Donations:
If you prefer to pledge to make a recurring gift (monthly, quarterly, or annually), you can use the Family Works automatic payment processing system. Choose from a list of options to the right of your screen.
U.S. Mail:
Gifts of personal checks or money orders can be mailed to Family Works, 365 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Suite 100, Novato, CA 94949.
Honorariums & Memorials:
Are you wondering what to give someone special who has everything? Give a birthday or anniversary gift to Family Works in their honor. The recipient will receive a lovely recognition card to acknowledge your thoughtfulness. Memorial gifts are a beautiful way to remember a loved one. If you include a mailing address when donating, the deceased's family will receive a card to inform them of your generosity.
Gifts of Stock:
Making a gift or fulfilling a pledge through a transfer of stock is often very advantageous from a tax point of view, especially if you own appreciated stocks. By making a gift of stock directly to a charitable organization like Family Works, you can avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation of the stocks and also realize an income tax deduction in the amount of the stock's fair market value on the date of the gift. Each individual's tax situation differs, so please get in touch with a tax advisor about the best way to make a charitable gift. Corporate Matching Gifts:
Check with your Human Resources Department to see if your company has a matching gift program. Your employer may match your donation to Family Works after the gift is made and the proper paperwork is completed—effectively doubling your donation!
Gifts of Goods and Gift cards:
We welcome donations of formula, wipes, and diapers which we distribute to needy families. Donated gift cards are also appreciated. Gift cards for stores such as Walmart or Target, grocery stores, or gas cards are especially needed.
