Our services are designed not just to assist but to truly transform the lives of our clients, empowering them to enhance their social, emotional, and parenting skills in their family, work, and community environments.

Parenting Support Services (PSS):

Parenting support services (PSS) enhance each parent’s ability to promote their own and their children’s cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development.

• Behavior management and positive discipline using the Positive Parent Program or “Triple P”

• Stress reduction

• Family nutrition and exercise

• Financial management and budgeting

• Transportation skills

Independent Living Skills (ILS):

Our Independent Living Skills (ILS) program empowers individuals to enhance their social skills and interactions with their families, work environment, and community resources. We believe in your potential to thrive independently. 

• Employment readiness

• Development of social support systems

• Health promotion and exercise

• Access to community resources

How to receive services:

Family Works is committed to serving the entire Bay Area community. To begin services you will need to contact your local Regional Center.

Our services are available in 10 counties:

You will need to contact the North Bay Regional Center if you are located in Sonoma, Solano or Napa counties.

You will need to contact the Golden Gate Regional Center if you are located in San Francisco, San Mateo, or Marin counties.

You will need to contact the Regional Center of the East Bay if you are located in Contra Costa or Alameda counties.

You will need to contact the San Andreas Regional Center if you are located in Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito, or Monterey counties.
