Welcome to the Developmental Disabilities Services section of our website. My name is Katherine Arnsbarger, and I am the Coordinator of this fabulous program at APPLE FamilyWorks. The goal of this program is to provide comprehensive, high-quality and productive skills training for individuals, parents and children who are developmentally challenged.
Our services were born out of the belief that people with special needs deserve to have the same opportunity to live a life as anyone. Therefore, we provide a unique support and education to those persons with developmental disabilities who are consumers of any of the Bay Area Regional Centers.
Perhaps you have a special needs relative, friend, or consumer that can benefit from our services. Please feel free to contact me or send an online referral. These valuable services are funded entirely from the Regional Centers and at no cost to the consumer.
The services take place in the consumer’s home, community facilities, and other natural environments. The all-inclusive, wrap-around program eliminates duplication of services. We help each individual and/or family gain skills to positively interact with friends, family, co-workers, community providers, and services.
